What we've been waiting for.

Now that we've gotten this, our consulate appointment was made in a jiffy. We are leaving on Wednesday morning. We'll have a seven-hour layover in Shanghai. That's the longest I could manage - after living there for two years and not seeing it for almost 20 years, it's frustrating to be going to China for three weeks and spending so little time there.

But most importantly, it's good that everything is all in place and we will finally be with my little girl in 8 or 9 days. And we have four days to get packed. We have a new camera, so we will try to post some good pictures when we get there (maybe not packing pictures though).
